SOLDIERS OF THE CROSS
Ephesians 6:11 “Put on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.â€
Most of us have relatives who were in the military. Some have even fought in wars. They go through rigorous training and are equipped with armor and other devices for self preservation.
Spiritual warfare is a different kind of battle and one we fight every day against the devil. He really wants to win the war and overturn us into sin. We must face each new day for the battle and be armed as the Bible tells us. 1) “..having your loins gird about with truthâ€, 2) “..having on the breastplate of righteousnessâ€, 3) “..feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peaceâ€. 4) “..taking the shield of faithâ€, 5) “..take the helmet of salvationâ€, and 6) “..the sword of the spirit which is the word of God.†Now off to war. Put on your armor and claim the victory.
