His Prayer for Us
Luke 22:31a “And the Lord said Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not.“
The Lord knows all too well Satan’s intentions toward us, and how he wants nothing more than to “sift” our lives into nothing. But, praise the Lord, He is praying for us that we can hold fast our faith. If Satan is giving us trouble today, we need to go straight to the throne of glory in prayer and put it all in the hands of the Lord because He is praying for us. How great is that?
