Daily Treasure

Read Ephesians 5:19-20. Sing the chorus “I Love You, Lord” or some other song or hymn you know that speaks of sheer praise for God’s goodness. The next time you are alone in your car or house, sing it to the top of your lungs with your hands raised toward heaven with uninhibited thanksgiving.  Write down the words to the song(s) you sang and indicate how you felt when you gave God that gift of praise.

PRAY TOGETHER: Pray for Sarah Fletcher as she unveils the new WNAC theme at this year’s convention.

PRAY TOGETHER: SPAIN: Pray for the workers and students who will be attending VBS at the Alpredrete Church July 27-29.

Everything surrounding the WNAC Convention needs to be bathed in prayer. God has and can accomplish great things through the women of our denomination.

PRAY TOGETHER: Please pray for all speakers and musicians as they prepare for the National Convention.

Read Ephesians 5:1. Prayerfully list things you have done within the last few months that have been direct results of your walk with your heavenly Father. Now write ways you can improve your imitation of His perfect example. Pray for His guidance to more fully follow Him.

PRAY TOGETHER: Pray for General Directors and staff who are preparing reports for the National Convention.

Read Matthew 6:21, 24; Ephesians 5:10; and Deuteronomy 6:4-5. Make two lists: “Treasures” and “Heart’s Desires.” See if your treasures match what your heart wants. Ask God to help you find what is pleasing to Him and to love Him with all your heart, soul, and strength so your heart becomes His treasure.

PRAY TOGETHER: Pray for Tim and Jessica Hodges, new associate home missionaries in Colorado Springs, CO.

Go online to www.youtube.com and type in “Daddy’s Hands Holly Dunn.” Watch the video and think about how your heavenly Father’s hands are soft and kind when you are hurting and hard as steel when you’ve done wrong, yet always full of love. Read Ephesians 3:20 and pray thanksgiving to God for the mighty work within you He has accomplished beyond what you could have ever asked or hoped for.

PRAY TOGETHER: SPAIN: Many evangelical children will be attending youth camps in Spain during July and August. Pray these camps will have an impact on their spiritual lives.

Write the words to Ephesians 3:12 in your notebook. Now make three columns entitled “How,” Where,” and “What.” Under each respective heading, indicate what this verse says about how we have the ability to go where we can go and what the reaction will be. Now do what the verse says and step fearlessly into God’s presence to thank Him for opening the door through Christ so we could be welcomed in to “sit a spell.”
