How Will Your Children Remember You?

“…a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised” (Proverbs 31:30b).

If we leave for glory before our children do, what will be our legacy for them? As one who has faced much sickness and pain, I personally don’t want my children to just remember that about me. I want it inscribed on their hearts that I loved the Lord and overcame whatever I faced by His mercy and grace. If I can accomplish that, then I will feel I did not fail them.

What will live on in the hearts of your children? Will they see how much you loved and served the Lord? Will they be able to praise the memory of you?
