The Glory of God

“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament sheweth His handiwork” (Psalm 19:1).

Even when we fail to “declare the glory of God,” everything else God has created does. I love spring time. Trees and flowers are in colorful bloom and grass becomes greener. Everything seems to come alive after a long, winter’s rest.

I have not traveled much but, in the past three years, I have been privileged to see the Pacific Ocean and to survive a drive up to the top of Pike’s Peak. I was in such awe of the majesty of God’s handiwork. I’ve seen countless pictures from other people’s travels. It’s hard to fathom some people do not give God credit for His power and wisdom in all He has created. If all the beauty and majesty of nature declare His glory, we, as the highest form of His creation, should be willing to do the same.
