Keep It Clean

“Flee fornication.  Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body” (1 Corinthians 6:18).

You’ve probably heard this old phrase, “cleanliness is next to godliness.”  We previously shared about taking care of our bodies. Committing anything immoral is forgetting to keep our “temple” clean. Paul is speaking of sexual sin in today’s verse.  There is no other sin that affects the body like this one. This affects not only the soul, but our bodies are well.  Basically, I believe our verse tells us to flee anything that will disgrace our bodies. If we don’t flee, it will fill the Enemy with glee.

PRAY TOGETHER: How wonderful and encouraging that God is leading qualified, enthusiastic young men and women to apply as missionaries through IM. But we must have adequate financial support to send them. Pray for God to move on Free Will Baptists to rally in support of missionary appointees. Ask God to give the IM leadership and board wisdom and faith as they interview and approve candidates.
