“That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven…” (Matthew 5:45a).
Our relationship with God is that of father and child. We can parallel this to our own father experience.
I revered and respected my dad. He and my mother created me. Dad was the provider and protector of our home. If we needed something we asked him. If we were faced with a problem we asked him for advice and help. He led and guided our home with Christian values and expected our full cooperation. He was the head of our home and we gave him honor for it. Hmm…a great example of the relationship I have with my Heavenly Father.
