“For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother†(Matthew 12:50).
First and foremost, our relationship with Jesus is that of our Savior and Lord. According to this Scripture, if we do the will of our Father in Heaven, Jesus will consider us brothers and sisters. Through Christ we are brothers and sisters with each other. What a family we have. We must show reverence and thankfulness for the cost Jesus paid on the cross for our sins and unite with our spiritual family of believers seeking to do the perfect will of God.
