“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:10).

When Christ lived on this earth He had a mission. It is found in our Bible verse today. Until He went to the cross, He labored tirelessly to accomplish the work of this mission. Every lost soul was His mission field. This is how we should look at the lost today. Christ wasn’t willing that any should be doomed to eternal torment. We should have that same desire.

Christ’s death on the cross more than proved His great love for mankind. He looks to us to continue seeking out those who need to be saved. Leading them to Jesus is being part of the mission He had long ago when He dwelt among us.
